Michael Whelan is one of the few artists I have had the pleasure of knowing that fits into the 'true artistic genius' category. Michael is a wellspring of creativity, inspiration and finely honed craft.
Much of what you see here was produced while listening to the extraordinary work of ambient/electronic music pioneer Steve Roach. Steve creates enormously innovative and varied music with subtlety and beauty that has proved to be an invaluable stimulus for my own creativity.
